We kicked off the holiday season supporting the am

We kicked off the holiday season supporting the amazing @crh.foundation at their 30th annual Christmas Tree Festival.

A few ways we contributed this year:
✨ Danielle volunteered her time by sitting on the committee that put the event on by gathering auction items & helping sell tickets
✨ Taylor donated a beautiful piece of original art to be auctioned off in the silent auction
✨ Jes shared her magical eye by taking photos for the event, capturing the joy in the faces of those around the room
✨ Girlgang donated items & tickets to Galentine’s day in the silent auction
✨ We showed up! We bought raffle tickets, we shared our love for this organization with others at the event & we screamed from the rooftops how important the hospital and it’s foundation is to each & every one of us

Cheers to the start of the giving season. We will continue to share ways you can give back over the holidays.

The Truth and Reconciliation Act is not just a moment in history—it’s a mandate for action TODAY. It calls on us to confront the legacy of colonialism, acknowledge the harm done to Indigenous peoples, and actively work toward creating a future that is fair, just, and inclusive.

But reconciliation isn’t just a word— it’s an ongoing commitment. We need to be part of that process, not just as allies but as active participants in fostering healing, equity, and justice. This means showing up, advocating, and ensuring that Indigenous voices are amplified in the spaces where decisions are made, not just today BUT EVERYDAY.

CALL TO ACTION
👉🏼 The time for symbolic gestures has passed. We must invest in education, support Indigenous-led initiatives, challenge systems of oppression, and be accountable for the role we all play in building a better future. The Living Skies Indigenous Basketball League (LSIBL) is an unprecedented, cost-free basketball initiative that has empowered more than 2,100 athletes to hone their skills both on and off the court.

💭🇨🇦 TEAM CANADA 3X3 FUN FACT! When @paigecrozon isn’t being super-mom to Poppy or training with her team, she is also a manager with @livingskiesbasketball . We are thrilled to support Paige by supporting this initiative that is so near and dear to her.

Red Dress Day, observed annually on May 5th, holds deep significance within the movement to raise awareness about missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, and 2SLGBTQQIA+ peoples (MMIWG2S+).

Red Dress Day trace back to the Red Dress Project, an impactful art installation created by artist Jamie Black in 2010. The red dresses serve as a reminder of lives lost and families affected by these tragedies.

🔴 Why RED?
Aiming to provoke reflection, conversation, and action to address the systemic factors contributing to this crisis. Red is a color of visibility and vitality, and in this context, DEMANDS ATTENTION to the often-overlooked issue of violence.

As we observe Red Dress Day, let’s commit ourselves to listening to Indigenous voices, supporting initiatives that prioritize safety and justice, and working towards a future where every life is valued and protected.

YOU helped raise $8100 for the @ywcalethbridge Harbour House & Amethyst Project, two VERY important & under funded programs in our city. These funds will go directly where the YWCA needs it most & will make a big impact on the lives of women & children right here in Lethbridge.

Last night, thanks to your love, generosity, friendship & support, we all raised $8100 in support of the @ywcalethbridge Harbour House & the Amethyst project. These funds will directly impact the women & children in our community who need it most. This brings our total donation to the YWCA to $30,000 over the years ❤️

A big giant thank you to @hudsonsyql for continually showing up each year with enthusiasm, kindness, donuts 🍩 & prosecco 🍾 & allowing us the space to create a little bit of magic on Galentine’s Day.

One final shout to everyone who purchased merch! Holy. Crap. You showed UP! Our new hoodie designed by the amazing @taylorcrozon @senor.rooster sold in a matter of minutes & our original Be Kind tee wasn’t far behind. The funds raised from merch sales goes directly back into our community through our Fostering Community Fund and other initiatives put on by the gang.
